How it started:

Twenty years ago, a Danish school teacher saw a performance of Instant Theatre during a trip to England. He immediately recognised the potential for creative language learning and invited us to his school in Denmark. Now, two decades on, we tour over fifteen countries worldwide and around 35 000 people enjoy Instant Theatre every year.

Instant Theatre enables students to:

· speak and think only in English for an hour.
As students become more involved in the creative process, nerves fall away and they find themselves using the language more and more spontaneously.
· Gain confidence in their English.
Everyone is involved through answering questions, acting, or simply watching and listening. Even students with a low level of English can understand what is happening. They often surprise themselves with how much they can achieve in English.
· Enjoy themselves in English.
The students have complete freedom in the story telling; there are no wrong answers. It is an exhilarating experience which has been proved to break through language and culture barriers with hilarious results.
